Media Mall Factory 3.2.0

MediaMall is a powerfull solution to manage media files online distribution with a built in Credit System. Using this component the site can easily sell media files (ex. Video Tutorials) online.

Using the MediaMall solution users can post their media files on your site. For each media file a number of Credits can be perceived in order to visualize the file. The poster will earn credits, which can be later converted into a payment by the webmaster.

Accepted upload formats are:

  • video files (flw, swf, mov and wmf; avi files are also partially supported, but not all codecs are included.)
  • audio files (mp3)
  • archives (zip, rar, gz, bz2, arj, arc, '7z) - used generally for tutorials; if a user is posting video file with a photoshop tutorial, in the archive he can include the sample files.

In order to purchase the credits easier the system provides a Paypal integration. Clean payments are transformed automatically into credits. If any problems the payments are going into the "Payment/canceled Payments, where the administrator can decide further actions. A further income method, if set, can be the pay for Contact. Here a user will pay with credits in order to send a contact email to the author.

The administrator can create and manage Categories, set credit related settings and manage credits and views. Another important administrator feature is the management of the author payments. The system also includes user notifications on certain actions.

Viewers can use the integrated Rating System to rate and also place comments for any media file. This is allowed for free media files and for commercial media files only after viewing in order to avoid any abuses.

Surely the media files can be also posted for free, allowing the view without any credit purchase. The administrator can configure this allowing the view for guest or logged users.

Among other features, the component benefits also from Joomfish Integration, offering multilanguage support.

The ads can be also saved for later publishing (publish/unpublish; save ads now publish later) or can be date triggered published. A republishing option is available for expired ads; also on expiry a email notification is sent. If not republished the ads will go to the existing archive system. Ads can de reported to the admin in case of fraudulent behavior. In case that a user wants to ask an ad publisher a certain question, he can use the integrated user messaging system.

A main image and secondary images can be attached to each ad. This will be automatically included in a small image gallery present for each ad. The image gallery is slider based and has also a detailed view option. File attachments can be used also, in order to provide detailed information. This attachments together with the gallery and GoogleMaps are displayed on the detailed view of each ad. Micro Deal auction Factory 1.8.1

Micro Deal Auction Factory is a scaled down alternative to our flagship extension, Auction Factory.

It works by allowing users to sell services or products at a fixed price throughout the website.
The fixed price is set by the admin and cannot be changed/increased by the users. The users can however post items in a quantity and buyers can purchase one item at a time.

Payment is not done like in an ordinary auction between the buyer and seller, actually, the seller offers his services via the website and all his earnings are kept by the website until he chooses to withdraw the money. The admin is notified whenever a user wants to withdraw an amount.

From the backend, the administrator can set a minimum value at which the seller can withdraw his earnings. A commission can be kept by the website if desired, the commission percent is set by the admin.

On the “Earnings” page the seller can see exactly the commission he will be charged, the minimum amount he can withdraw and also the currency in which deals are made on the website.

Also on the earnings page the user can view his total earnings, total withdrawn and pending withdrawals which the admin has to issue, in a single tab. Two more tabs are available which show his Sold and Bought deals, the email is shown here so that users can get in touch for product delivery. Users can set a finalized deal as Solved after delivery.

In short, Micro Deal Auction Factory allows you, as admin, to:

  • Set commission for withdrawals
  • Set a unique price
  • Set currency
  • Set minimum withdraw sum
  • Test your website by using Paypal Sandbox before going live
  • Manage payments with a simple to use user list, and filter users which have requested payments
  • Add any number of categories
  • Publish/unpublish and edit ads
  • Select between different date formats
  • Configure pagination for deals, comments and earnings
  • Set image width and height
  • Send automated notifications for all actions on the website
  • Keep a payment log
  • Easily manage user reports for deal and comments

The user frontend experience is also quite intensive for such a small extension.
When posting deals the user can upload a picture, set start and end date, set a quantity for the item he is selling and also a description and a title. The deals are posted in categories for easy management and browsing. Also there is a quick search by title module.

Besides the comments users can leave on the deal, they can also rate it by using the friendly thumbs up/down system. If a rude deal or comment is posted, other users can report it and the admin will take care of it.

Raffle Factory 2.0.0

A raffle is a competition in which people buy numbered tickets. Originating in southern Italy, it is a popular game in numerous countries and is often held to raise funds for a specific event, charity, or occasion.

The raffle involves many people buying tickets for a chance to win a certain prize or prizes. At a set date, the winners are drawn from a bucket containing a copy of every number or a tombola (from Italian: tombola ['to:mbola]). The ticket is then checked against a collection of prizes with numbers attached to them.

Raffle Factory is the solution to online raffles. Organize your own raffles on your website, or allow others to come and post raffles.

Tickets can be sold at any price with limited or no costs related to the actual raffling process, compared to real life raffles or lotteries.

The tickets can be chosen at random by the script, or the raffler can pick the winning ticket from a list. If chosen manually, no details are shown related to the ticket other than the number until the raffle closes, to prevent fraud.

Built from Reverse Auction Factory, Raffle Factory also features the powerful Smarty Templating engine and custom fields system. This allows the webmaster to customize the extension to great extent without any actual programming knowledge.

The admin can enable or disable a multitude of features, for instance:

  • Choose between Manual and Automatic winner selection
  • Set default values for public/private and published/unpublished fields
  • Enable the approval system
  • Configure Pagination and Listing
  • Countdown displayed on raffles
  • NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and Attachments
  • Google Maps
  • Guest Messaging can be restricted
  • Messaging can be completely disabled
  • Community Builder Profiling
  • Add or Remove currencies
  • and many more...

The Raffler can set a price for each ticket, set a number of available tickets and also a ticket limit for each user. Borrowed from Reverse Auction Factory is the Reserve Price feature, which closes the auction without a winner if the reserve price isn’t met by the expiration date.
Pictures can be uploaded and also attachments to provide additional details about the listing.
The extension uses a CRON script to close raffles and choose winners, more about this can be found on the administrator page of the extension and our documentation wiki.

The extension is a closed action system, meaning details can be seen but very few or no actions are available for the unlogged user. Before buying or listing can be done, the user must fill in a Raffle profile.

Reverse Auction Factory 3.0.1
A reverse auction (also called procurement auction, e-auction, sourcing event, e-sourcing or eRA) is a tool used in industrial business-to-business procurement. It is a type of auction in which the role of the buyer and seller are reversed, with the primary objective to drive purchase prices downward. In a reverse auction, sellers compete to obtain business.

Reverse auction is a tool used by many purchasing and supply management organizations for spend management, as part of strategic sourcing and overall supply management activities.

In a reverse auction, a buyer contracts with a market maker to help make the necessary preparations to conduct the reverse auction. This includes: finding new suppliers, training new and incumbent suppliers, organizing the auction, managing the auction event, and providing auction data to buyers to facilitate decision making.

The market maker, on behalf of the buyer, issues a request for quotation (RFQ) to purchase a particular item or group of items (called a "lot"). At the designated day and time, several suppliers, typically 5-20, log on to the auction site and will input several quotes over a 30-90 minute period. These quotes reflect the prices at which they are willing to supply the requested good or service.

Quoting performed in real-time via the Internet results in dynamic bidding. This helps achieve rapid downward price pressure that is not normally attainable using traditional static 3-quote paper-based bidding processes.

The prices that buyers obtain in the reverse auction reflect the narrow market which it created at the moment in time when the auction is held. Thus, it is possible that better value - i.e. lower prices, as well as better quality, delivery performance, technical capabilities, etc. - could be obtained from suppliers not engaged in the bidding or by other means such as collaborative cost management and joint process improvement.

The buyer may award contracts to the supplier who bid the lowest price. Or, a buyer could award contracts to suppliers who bid higher prices depending upon the buyer's specific needs with regards to quality, lead-time, capacity, or other value-adding capabilities. However, buyers frequently award contracts to incumbent (i.e. current) suppliers, even if prices are higher than the lowest bids, because the switching costs to move work to a new supplier are higher than the potential savings that can be realized.

  • allowing the Buyer to choose the best deal
  • obtaining Prices for Services or Products

  • Commissions Plugin, Pay-per-Contact Plugin, Pay-per-Bid Plugin

MH ShareThis Lite

MH ShareThis Lite retrieves the count/number of Friends/Followers from Facebook and Twitter and displays them throughout your Joomla website.

It is the perfect solution to encourage more users to join your network!

Facebook Like Count
Twitter Follower Count

After setting up the module settings for 'ShareThis' in the 'Module Manager' (setting the Social Networks that you want to collect stats from) in the Joomla! administrator, you can enable the 'ShareThis' module. This module will automatically display the networks that you have selected on the options page, with some limited customization, and you are good to go.

This module uses jQuery.

Slide Down Drawer by Code7

A module that allows other modules or an article to be loaded in a slider at the top of the page.

To use simply put the module in any position on the site. It uses CSS to be fixed to the top so anywhere is fine, I'd suggest somewhere that already contains a module though.

If you're styling this or something be sure to hit the debug mode button. This will start the slider open so you don't have to click open after every refresh.

Responsively the modules will resize based on the amount you choose in the settings. Select 0 to do your own.

Be forewarned that on mobile devices the button may scroll off the bottom due to the fixed nature so PLEASE make sure that you take approrpriate action.

-- basic functionality, displays modules.

-- basic styling. Can now also display an article.

Sounds notify you when a new message has been entered but can be disabled if necessary. Banter provides rooms with a variety of access levels: Public (access for all logged-in users), Member Only (access by invitation only), or Key (access with a key phrase). Guest Access
Banter lets you bring a client into a room easily through a guest link. When the guest link is enabled simply send the client the link and they will be asked to enter a name and then allowed immediate access to the room. Guests will not see any chats, discussions, or files that were added before they joined the room, similar to a real conference room.

Stored Transcripts
All rooms and discussions store transcripts for you to quickly find things again. Starred items are automatically displayed for each transcript along with any files attached to the discussion or chat. Chat searching is an easy way to search across your rooms and discussions to find a specific word or phrase.

Banter seamlessly integrates with CRMery so you can attach a room to a particular lead, contact, company or deal. When in the room you can jump to your CRM record for review or update.
